We are turning our thoughts towards Christmas and have been  planning ahead for this busy time of year.

Please scroll down for dates and times of all of our major events including Christmas Jumper day and our Christmas celebrations at St. Lukes.

Thank you for helping to ensure our soft start works really well. Children are in class quickly and settling down to their work beautifully. Please remember that KS2 must be in the playground at 8.45am in order for their teachers to register them promptly at 8.50am. The senior leadership team are available in the playground to speak to if you have any messages to pass on to class teachers.

Reception and Key stage 1 children should be in the playground by 8.50am to be registered at 8.55am.

Building work

If you have visited Lavender recently, you will have noticed the large, fenced off area in the KS2 playground. This is to enable the builders to create a wonderful new kitchen which will then meet the needs of the much larger number of children who now eat cooked lunches. Of course, this affects play and lunchtimes, so the children have been given a rota to ensure that they get to use the different areas of the playground, including the field when the weather allows. Year groups 1, 2 and 3 will share the KS1 playground.

Thank you for your understanding during this period. We are hoping all the work will be finished by February and we will benefit from the new kitchen.

Good News! Lavender Primary School was Number 10 in the league table of 59 Enfield primary schools! Take a look at the school news page on this website to keep up to date with everything else that is happening at Lavender.
